Activities Ceramic Lessons
Thanks to the collaboration with L'Antico Cocciaio of Cortona, the oldest ceramic shop in town, we can organize art classes for all ages.
The course is suitable for everyone, both those wishing to know the techniques of making pottery and those who are already experienced and want to experiment new creations.
Special courses tailored to your needs are also available.
There are also ceramic classes for disabled people that are structured respecting personal rhythms, times and methods of individual work with the support of expert staff.
The classes are held at the craft workshop of “L'Antico Cocciaio” in the old town of Cortona, a beautiful tourist destination for a holiday in Tuscany.
The lesson is usually 1h30/2hours long or for as long as necessary to complete the object.
Reservation would be appreciated within 7 days from the selected date (based on availability) and it is recommended to do the lesson at the beginning of your stay so that the object will be ready before you leave considering that there are necessary steps (such as drying and baking) that cannot be brought forward. Alternatively, objects can be shipped at the client's expense.
Activities Coking Classes
Our guests can attend a cooking class to enjoy an unforgettable and innovative culinary experience without neglecting the importance of tradition and farm-to-table products. The young chef Matteo Sciarri, at his restaurant Ambrosia in Cortona, will show you the techniques to prepare and taste the authentic Tuscan cuisine.
A cooking class lasts about 3 hours to prepare a full menu, from starters to desserts that you will then eat at the end of the lesson.
Classes are available for minimum 2 people and maximum 8 people. In case of larger groups we will organize for you a custom-made cooking class. Cooking classes must be booked in advance according to the chef's availability.
Activities Coking Classes at The Farmhouse
Our cooking classes can also be held at the farmhouse. The guests who prefer staying at the farmhouse can attend a cooking class held, upon request and subject to availability,
in the spacious and cozy common hall called "La Limonaia”.
Here you will have the chance to prepare a traditional full menu helped by a professional chef by using only local products. A cooking class lasts about 3 hours to prepare a full menu, from starters to desserts that you will then eat at the end of the lesson.
